Mods-I hope I’m not crossing a line here. Being a “newbie” I know I cannot post for sale, however the local yard doesn’t charge for small trim pieces so this is just a cost of postage deal-not really selling...

As I walked through the yard I recalled someone had been looking for one of these antenna covers, so grabbed it.

Lastly, came across a Yukon with the “rarer” short console. It was pretty trashed and not worth pulling in my opinion, but I remembered someone was searching for the front block off plate so popped it out.

I’ve found the posts and have asked the members if they’re still seeking these.

Spent another few hours on RnR or “therapy” depending on how you see it. Grabbed as complete an Escalade console as I’ve been able to come acroos, front flares, set of wheel clamp rings, fog/cargo light switch & bezel, Camaro door buzzer, console latch to replace my broken one and some misc wiring for just over $100. I think I made out pretty well!

I need to go find a junkyard to rummage through sometime, as it sounds like a good, hopefully somewhat affordable place to find some relatively uncommon parts that cost too much elsewhere. Anyone know of any in the San Francisco east bay area??

My old neighbor has a huge metal recycle and auto yard north east of me. But because there is no market for used GMT 400 parts ( the salt in the winter here ) almost everything has been crushed moons ago.

It goes ding ding ding instead of the continuous screech the stock units make. 1 for 1 swap off the convenience center, no modification needed. Might want to jumper your seat belt switch tho as the Camaro input is open when unbuckled, opposite of the trucks.
