I like your choice of number plate, a classic Aussie term for a classic Aussie car. I have owned Holdens all of my life and my wife currently drives the 2006 Commodore with the Alloytec V6, while I drive a GMC K1500. The Commodores are great cars and a lot of fun to drive hard. Your car will only get more valuable now since they closed the factory and no longer make the legendary Commodores anymore. I hope you get a lot of fun out of it.

Interesting fact about me, I absolutely cannot stand the feeling of "Greasy" or worn leather items. Be it a shift knob, steering wheel or even seat surfaces. So, ordered a brand new shift knob, turns out it was shipped from Australia. The paperwork included was pretty neat, especially the list of Holden Accessories.

Is that your LT1? I like the debadging done. Auto or manual?
Yes, it's my 2020 Camaro LT1, 6 speed car, 6.2 Gen 5 LT1, intake, exhaust, tune.

I hope so as well, i'm glad someone noticed the plate! :D

I thoroughly enjoy the car so far, I actually test drove a brand new 2008, but opted to keep my 2007 Mustang GT at the time. I've always enjoyed the Australian built Pontiac's, their build quality is 10x better than a likewise time period state-side GM.

I've got a brand new "Pontiac" logo'd knob in the box, as well as a GM Accessory Red & Black shift knob for the car too. I've been spending some time, snatching up NOS parts as I can find them, as I plan to put another 150k on this car.

In other news, heard from the bodyshop, should hopefully be done the Friday after next.

New GM front bumper cover, driver lower grille, side marker lamps, driver fog light, condenser, radiator and it's back in action!

I've owned this car for 7 months, 6 weeks of which, has been spent in the body shop.

It's so nice to be back in a car as a daily, rather than a truck. So much more nimble, tighter and a super smooth ride.

Just walked my way through the thread. Sharp car, Victory Red is a great color.

My buddy had a blue Chevy SS, I don't remember the year '09ish maybe, had ALL options including the variable exhaust. I sill want to do a big mid 90s b-body with a rowdy LS to daily. Caprice/Impala/Roadmaster...leaning towards a Roady.

I believe the SS went from 14-17.

I actually found a pretty nice 2014 SS down in Lawrence at a dealer, i've been debating on picking it up. I thought the G8 was luxurious for a GM vehicle, but wow, the SS is insane.

It's hard to go wrong with the mid 90's Big body GM cars, I swear they're like driving a lazy-boy down the interstate. The only thing that'd make them better would be the LS power and economy.

Roadmaster for the win! I want to get one and do a 5.3 in it.
