FWIU the KS and the ESC modules have to match the same engine application but, IDK about the trans. Did you look at other parts suppliers' sites?

Yeah, it seems to be different on all sites. I think the ESC module is the same for all applications. I'll just have to change my knock sensor, I guess.

There's a spring which applies pressure to the diaphragm that controls flow back to the tank depending on how much pressure the spring applies. There is no bowl or reservoir there, it is constant flow from the pump to the Throttle Body and back to the tank.

Here's an example of the location of the cup/housing and spring.

And the spring. In this case it's an 18LB spring so, it'll give you 18 PSI fuel pressure

Here's an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. By tightening the thumb wheel, you increase pressure.

My oil pressure gauge has been bouncy for a while, so today I crawled under it to see how hard it is to get to and I can't find one!

What year truck? The newer ones have a 3 wire sender on the china rail near the distributor. 1 wire is for the fuel pump pressure switch and the other 2 wires are for your gauge.

Some of the "newer" ones are 1 wire, mine is (99 Burb 5.7 C1500). I checked it before I went to the parts store, not much room to get my hands back there!
