Went ahead and picked up a set of factory front spindles for the truck, so I can ditch the 2" drop spindles. It'll make running 15's ALOT easier, where I won't have to cut the "Rain gutters". I did that once on a set of control arms and after a few years, they actually started to bend upwards right before the ball joint. I've cut alot of stock power trucks and never had an issue. It's apparent with more power, it puts more upward and downward stress on that point. I'll probably raise the frontend an inch, while taking another inch out of the coilovers on the front.

Also unloaded the truck from the trailer, put it on jackstands so I could throw the new trans yoke in and order my custom driveshaft for this setup. Hopefully it'll be in within a week or so.

My interest in messing with this truck, really seems to come and go.

I think that's normal, I get the same way with my Z28 and the '49. Z28 needs the steering gear and headliner. '49 needs the AC installed, just not really pushing to do either.

Some of that depends on what else is going on in your life at the moment, but I know for me a fair bit of it is weather related. When I sweat just walking across the street to get in the Burb, doesn't make me real enthusiastic about working on it!

I 100% agree!! Even with a big fan going in the shop. It's downright miserable sometimes!

How much would you possibly want for the drop spindles?
