I have been searching with little success. I want to replace my D/S front door seal and the two rear door seals. Where are you guys finding the best supplier for the seals? I get exhaust smell through the rear doors and am guessing the seals are toast. It isn't terrible, but over time, my stuff back there smells like the 70s LOL. Thanks for your help!

When you say rear door are you talking about REAR door or backdoor.. which doesnt really clarify much...
do you mean barn doors or the second set of doors, doors.

I wouldnt be so certain about your exhaust theory, the fact you can smell your exhaust means its either earlier startup smells or your truck has something going on causing it to run in a way you can smell exhaust, perhaps a bad cat or missing one?

Exhaust leaks? Your truck should pass exhaust from the engine to the rear(or the side rear, idk where the pipe goes) without leaking, and then its behind you and you would be moving anyway. Smelling ehxuast tells me either your rear rear has sealing issues (And air pressure forces it up into the way back) or you have the exhaust leaking underhood possibly and being pulled into the cowl or leaky floor or maybe a trans/tcase shifter area not sealed... etc..

Hows your hoods cowl seal doing?

I would also take this very seriously as the amount of exhaust getting in there could be dangerous if not just very very harmful to your health and you dont know what level it is or under what conditions it is.

Great input. I am talking barn doors. And yes, I have had the exhaust looked at and a new CAT put on it last month. I was told it has no leaks, but I am going to look myself on my creeper tomorrow. I only really noticed the smell when I first started up in the morning, but after it is warmed up and driving daily, there isn't any smell at all. I just smell it on a couple of my jackets that I have hanging in the back near the doors. I did a full tune-up as well as fix all the vacuum leaks, and that helped tremendously, but I still think it should be a little cleaner than it is. I'll report back. I want to find those seals for the rear barn doors even if the exhaust turns out to be okay. Thanks again for the really good input.

This company advertises as making exact OEM matching seals. No personal experience, but possibly a source if no other recommendations are provided.

I don't have any personal experience with them either, but I know this company has been around for a long time, making rubber products for many classic makes and models. So since our trucks are classic now....

Because of the shape of a suburban, I wont discount your truck possibly running fine. does your exhaust pipe out the side or does it pipe straight back? also, where does it terminate, how close to the end or side of the vehicle? Picture? Also, could you show us your current seals? THey may be easily fixed or conditioned and hows your suburbans HVAC systems working, and how are your door pressure vents doing

You must be registered for see images attach

I looked at the diagram website, and the tailpipe which is split between 92/93 and 94/95, the 94/95 is shaped much longer and snakes around something or possibly places the pipe somewhere different (perhaps for this reason), so Id wonder if you have the original shape of your exhaust or if its possible its generic and/or for a 92/93
Everything else seems to be constant

The exhaust route is stock. It exits behind the rear tire out the side. HVAC seems to work well. Door pressure vents? I am not sure what those are. I will get pics this morning. They sure seem flat to me. They don't rebound at all when I open the doors. The drivers door rattles bad and I have heard that new seals fix a lot of that issue. I'll post up photos shortly.

The smell does not exist when driving around or sitting in the vehicle unless the window is down, and when it is up to operating temp, a lot of it goes away of course. Again, I just notice it on my clothes after driving it around all day, so I know it's coming in somewhere. But if you're running the AC or heat, there is no indication there is exhaust coming in.

Hows your evap canister? The components on that system? over time the canisters sometimes justn eed replacement. It almost sounds like your Evap is being overpowered in terms of it cant hold the vapors to the extent it should. but it could be something else too. hows your gas cap, have you had a fuel pump job in your past? (tank sealing) any rusty tank problems(Or plastic???) Any rusty lines? send, return, vapor lines
