I’ve seen it done on a square but not GMT400. The cab corner needed to be notched cause it almost hit the tire. Wouldn’t have a bed to speak of, maybe a 2’ over n behind the axle. It be different…..

I COULD BE WRONG ON MY MEASURMENT, I believe you can cut and extent the Xcab frame under the cab 14" to compensate for the cab size differences. I believe you need a piece of 2x6 Box steel to fill the frame, and swap one side of the piece driveshaft out and add a std cab dive shaft or just use a crewcab shaft. I have seen it in person once and picked his brain as much as possible. i dont think it would work on a std cab frame

Is this do able? Single cab long bed using crew cab body with a short bed on the single cab long bed frame?
Not without stretching the frame....
BTW I have a '97 CCLB, I can get whatever measurements you need.
CCLB wheelbase is 168.5 inches.
RCLB is 131.5 inches. RCSB is 117.5 inches.
Long bed is 8', short bed is 6.5 feet.
Burbs are also 131.5 WB but the frame is very different.
