Installed airlift bags on my 97 regular cab pickup. It already had the Chevy lean low in the front even after I installed new shocks and coil springs. My question is this, is there any way to lift the front 1 1/2" or so without removing the coil springs? After putting them in I swore to never install springs again. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Most people wanting to level one of these trucks just drop the rear instead. A 2" drop shackle on the rear springs does the job.

If the truck is 4WD you can crank up the torsion bars, but that will decrease ride quality and considering you're talking coil springs I'm pretty sure you have a 2WD anyway...

Right, 2wd. How would a drop shackle affect the air bag. It sits on the top of the springs and bolts to the frame.

How about a front spindle lift?

I've got one of these on my 99 ECSB NBS 2wd. With the taller rear blocks, the truck is pretty much "leveled." I'm actually not a big fan of leveled trucks because adding a bit of weight to the bed causes a negative rake. I prefer factory rake. I honestly can't remember the kit that I installed (3"? 4" maybe?,) but I don't remember if I actually measured the before and after. I wish they did like a 1" less kit to maintain rake. I've had that kit on that truck for a while now. I plan to lift the rear just a bit more at some point.

Also note that the front tires get pushed out a bit. Not much. I run LT265/75/16s.

I’m a big fan of factory rake myself. But “if” I were to level, I’d look at Bilstein 5100’s that have a 0-2.5” adjustment. I put them in my 2018 Z71(coil springs) and gave it a 1.5” lift and along with lift the ride actually improved. I learned the hard way though. First I installed those stupid lift blocks under the struts. Mega Mistake!
