I forgot my wallet!@#$%.
I've done that before. Now I do the self pat down to make sure I have everything. Normally its 2 phones and wallet in one hand and keys in the other. I can't sit on my wallet anymore since it affects my hip and back but I still go through the pat down just incase I'm missing something.

I think we've all been there and had that kind of day. At least you didn't walk out from lowes after forgetting your wallet and find out your vehicle was stolen...

Are you speaking from experience? If so, that sucks, sorry man.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but, EFF that! I'm trying to get rid of the 1 that I do have. The Wife won't let me forget it lol.

Gents, I know it's been a few days since I've updated this... believe me I want the damn truck on the road, but a couple of projects around the house took priority with the nice weather. I can tinker in the garage anytime, rain or shine. Sunny weather is a rarity in the rust belt, though

I hope to get back on this floor pan crap by the weekend.

Just let me know when you're stopping by to deal with mine. :)

Right rear of the cab. Cab hangs so low that when I hit a bump, the cab bounces onto the driveshaft.

Haven't had the courage to pull the carpet yet.

Wait... what??

Just jam some lumber up in there. You'll fit right in that way.

I'm trying not to laugh at that, but damn if I haven't see that before lol.

Up Here most single cab trucks have stuff jammed between the frame and cab. On my plow truck I found that a cam cover from an 82 Yamaha 750 is the perfect height and doesnt collapse with age like lumber. The other side has a torched to size brake rotor and folded galvanized sheet metal for shims.

Nothing wrong at all as long as you know what your doing and accept the repercussions from doing so.

On an old snow plow truck that will never see more than 5mph and is too far gone to restore, you can get away with a lot more than something that is good enough to be daily driven and may be considered collectible some day.

all in perspective...

Your doing it right which is the right thing to do.
