Speaker repair is cool too, though! No experience personally but I've seen it done a few times. I had some old Paradigm bookshelf speakers repaired with new surrounds recently at a local shop.

I wish I would've saved a couple old 12" subs that I roasted voice coils in back in the day. Knowing what I know now it probably wouldn't have been too bad of a fix.

I went with the Grant GT.... end reasoning was the safety factor if something ever went wrong. My hands and arms in a roll over with the Joe's all metal wheel, compared to the Grant padded....

I love the,” I’m putting my soul into this truck, but I’m putting all these safety features in for if it all goes wrong.” Some people wouldn’t be able to accept the fact that they could ruin it in a snap. I would be scared to drive something I’ve put this much effort into. Hats off to you.

We all wanna live in the "perfect world", but we all know it's the "real world!!" 140 mph in 5 seconds pulling 3+ G's. Stuff can go wrong real fast. Don't want that, but you can't ignore it!!!
