Can it count or read misfires on the vortecs or have any readout for the updated mpfi?
I have Torque, it has the PIDs for misfires and injector pulse width. Misfires show a reading of 0(says it's working) not sure if it is working properly, because I have a miss. I am not getting any readings on the injector pulse width though.

I'm fortunate enough to live on 75 acres and have a long lane way to run the abs. plus I activate them all the time in the snow. my brakes and abs work wonderfully in both of my trucks.

I just wish I could do a couple things with an app rather than handing over a tonne of money I dont have so I can do the crank/cam correlation and bleed the abs.

I'll figure it out eventually.

Using the torque app today, I got my CMP Offset within limits finally, see my thread for details of the nightmare.

I no longer notice a miss, but my misfire counts are working now. They are no longer reading 0. I'm getting about 2-6 randomly on random cylinders. Nothing noticeable, is that ok? I've never dealt with misfire counts before.

Also last time I used the app the gear indicator didn't work, now it is working perfectly fine. Shows what gear the trans is in, which is kind of cool. I also set up one page with all trans info. Temp, input speed, output speed Torque converter clutch slip, and gear. All that is working great, good info to have.

I looked and didn't see anything for this. If I am wrong, please move/delete/combine whatever the case may be.

I recently got the Torque Pro app and was able to read CMP Offset with it. It takes a little work, so I figured I would post it here(found it on another Forum). Others can add tips and tricks that help.

To add CMP offset PID follow these steps:
Settings
Manage Extra PIDs/Sensors
Hamburger Button at Top
Add Custom PID
OBD2 Mode: "221301"
Long Name: "Cam Retard Offset" name is really whatever you want
Short Name: "CMP Offset" again whatever you want here
Minimum Value: "-100"
Maximum Value: "100"
Scale Factor: x1
Unit Type: "Degrees"
Equation: " ((signed(A)*256+b)*0.063) "
OBD Header: "6C10F1"
Does not override any PID
OK

Now you can add that readout on your display pages.

I intend to learn a lot more about the app and will add what I find in this thread, and would appreciate others doing the same.
tried this and get a message about checking parenthasis on that equation line when hitting ok.

Buying a Tech 2 clone sounds like a great option if you have multiple trucks. It'll only take one or two jobs to pay it off at dealership rates.

What did you do to fix the parenthasis error? I am getting the same. Any updates on getting the cmp retard checked? I can't seem to get the correct PID to work.
