Hey guys I took my 93 GMC truck to some paint shops just to get my hood, roof, and tailgate painted along with clearing my whole truck well they told me they wanted to paint the whole truck for $5000-$8000.00

I'm no painter.. but IMO you're gonna have to knock down all the clear before you can re-clear the truck. Needs a surface to bite to. They may not even be willing to clear on top of old paint.
