I have a 1998 tahoe 4dr 4wd.
My spring hangers/shackles in the back are rusted out and I need new ones.
My question is, are they the same as a pickup, and if not, where and I get a set of the rear, rearward, shackles and hangers.
Help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

I did my 2wd burb and everything was new accept the u bolts and the frame mounts of coarse. I recommend general spring for u bolts and leaf springs , moog for shackles, and if there's anything else snap a pic so we can better guide you on parts available

I got some photos, it's dark out so it is what it is with the flashlight.
I was driving home and heard a thunk, that's what it ended up being.

Yikes guess I'm thankful to be in Houston. If I were you I hit the local junk yard for that part. I'm sure you can buy them new but I've personally never had to replace mine. Otherwise have you checked rock auto/ lmc truck?

Yeah I looked, and I found ones for pickups, my question was if they were the same.

Shackles are pretty universal, wouldn't doubt that they are the same. Shackle brackets and hangers, I'm not so sure about that. I think the Tahoe/Blazer/etc. are different than pickups. Some searching through GM parts sites should yield part #'s that would help..
