Does anyone have a pinout for the rheostat?
Here's the issue I'm running into:
My truck has no illumination of the instrument cluster.
The warning lights on the dash work
The gauges work
The dome light works from the rheostat
The HVAC lights work from the rheostat
The Parking Lights on the Truck work
The Tail lights work
I pulled the dash and replaced any burned out bulbs, there was 1 dead bulb
The headlight switch is new
The rheostat is new
I have no warning buzzer for the headlights left on... separate issue but maybe not.
My suspicion is either that the cluster is worn out and not completing the lighting circuit or that I have a wiring fault between the at the headlight switch, or between headlight switch and the cluster or rheostat. I'd like to try to jumper the headlight switch to the rheostat to try to isolate a wiring fault.
Any guidance and anyone have a pinout of rheostat?
Thanks in advance!
