I have lots of new parts for my L31 Vortec. So performance and some cosmetic. But I really really wish I had been smart enough to have done an LS swap instead. I could have spent half as much and had an easy extra 100 HP.

New crank pulley. Mine was super rusty and possibly bent. Also black ARP valve cover bolts. Because for some reason they thought that it was a smart idea to send chrome ones with my fancy new GM Performance all black valve covers.

New Rockauto distributor and Accel coil and ignition control module. I broke my old distributor taking it out. And this one is aluminum instead of the crappy plastic that GM used.

I’ve also been cleaning more parts and bolts with my ultrasonic cleaned. I love this thing! So much better than my parts washer. And even more effective than brake parts cleaner. I used so much brake parts cleaner that this thing more than paid for itself!!

And it maybe hard to see. But this is my 4” Rough Country lift kit. It’s just covered and surrounded by a lot of other stuff at the moment.

So needless to say. I’ve been busy shopping. Just not busy putting it all back together yet. But I plan to make some progress soon.

I also have a MPFI spider coming in today as well. There are a LOT of cheap Chinese knock offs. But you currently can’t find the ACDELCO/Delphi version. They stopped producing them unfortunately.

But I found a company called GB Remanufacturing that has rebuilt ones. So I rolled the dice that it will be a name brand one. I’ll take pictures and let you guys know later today when it shows up.
