Circa 2019 Build:
$50 Soundstream VR-345B head unit, $30 NVX backup camera,
$50 CerwinVega 4x6 2 way in dash powered off the head unit. Kicker 4x6 sounded better in my other burb. Might get the Kappa plates sometime.
$120 2 ch Soundstream amp with 8 inch sub combo (sounded terrible and no bass, more like a mid)
$75 Rockford Fosgate Prime 5.25 separates in front doors, driven by the 2ch sub amp combo.
$99 Kicker 4x10 in rear roof pockets powered off rear ch of head unit

Just upgraded a bit,
Skar 5 ch amp SK-M9005D $153 to drive 1-2 ch to the Fosgates and ch 5 to drive a 15 inch skar ported sub $220

I still need to pull the interior and run more wires to drive the dash 4x6 off the ch 3-4 of the amp.

All in all, cheap, and doesn't sound too bad. Hotel California is just right and so is Dopethrone - Funeralopolis
Amp kit cheap enough, $40 maybe at most, grand total somewhere around $700-750 with tax and shipping.

The 15 is a bit loose for my taste, but I'm starting to get used to it. Raised the x over for it to around 125 I think (can't tell really, just move a dial) and moved the gains around.

Actually opened the manual after install, the 15 is setup at 1 ohm, and the amp is 2 ohm stable and should be putting out 450w at 2 ohm, but I'm running at 1, so 600w? It hits like it.

The 4 ohm 1-2 to the fosgate drivers start complaining at 75% volume. Might need to raise the xover on those. I may have already blown the left driver, listen to Funeralopolis and you'll see why.

I might remove the 4x10's because I can't hear them, and replace all the front speakers with better ones.
