OK have bee using search function and if it's posted I haven't found it yet.
How safe is it to run the 8 lug adapter and the later 8 lug pattern wheels from 2011 up? Photos of your GMT400 with the newer 8 lug wheels. Lots of them available as take offs craigslist or marketplace. Also links to purchase the adapters.

Yes, lots of those wheels out there, now.... always disappointing when I find a great deal on 8-lug rims that DON'T fit :doh2:

I've been running 1.5" spacers in the rear of my 98 from Ebay and they have been doing fine, so I wouldn't be too worried about adapters. Just make sure to torque them properly and get the ones that aren't 2 pieces.
