So I've replaced all my brake lines with nickel-copper, and after bleeding the brakes I looked at the proportioning valve and noticed brake fluid. It's not coming from either of the lines to the master cylinder, but apparently from the center pin that you can see in the picture. I cleaned the valve after I topped up the master cylinder, so I know it's not just a spill. I have pressure on all four brakes.

Did I screw something up? Is my valve toast?
Thanks for your help

That's more likely a "combination valve" than just a "proportioning valve".

Plastic housing? That's the safety switch. It might be available as a replacement part.

Where is the wire and boot that connects to the safety switch?

I don't see any wire and boot that would fit the switch. I looked up a quick video online, and it shows that being a circular connector. All the ones within reach are rectangular.

I bought this truck for $500 from a redneck who had done a bunch of dumb mods to it, and I'm taking it back nearer to stock. I think this might be one of his mod messes I'll have to clean up
