Created a thread already, but thought I would post here so it's listed.
Just finished installing 2010-2015 Camaro SS seats. Fits well even in standard cab, so crewcabs will work great. Cut down the seat mounts, and welded steel bars for mounting the seat to the rails. The positive and negative power from your 60/40 bench will wire up to the camaro seats. Just don't forget to take the fuse out for the airbags.

1994 Cadillac Deville leather heated power seats. Simple three-wire hook up if you also nab the heated seat controller. Always hot power to red, ignition on power to orange, ground the black wire. I might dye the seats black to match the rest of the interior, but not yet.

View media item 32216Custom seat mounting brackets I welded up myself from 2" square tubing, 2" angle iron, and 14 gauge sheet.

View media item 32076You will have to drill two holes in the floor pan for each seat.
How are they for leg and belly room as compared to OE seat

I have a 93 single cab GMC K1500 4x4 and I put the intereor of a 2018 Silverado work truck. I paid $300 for it and when I went to pick it up, he gave me the back. So it's just sitting in my shop.

i came across these pics recently - 2018 seats in a '93. i would LOVE to do this (i also have a 2014 silverado and love the seats - so to be able to drop these in my '89 would be awesome!)

there was a little welding involved, but totally doable!

one thing i'd want to change would be to make the seat belts come out thru the spots on the side of each seat instead of their original location... not sure what all that would involve though.

I'm 6' and 190 lbs, and I noticed that I lost a bit of room. Any closer and I wouldn't like it. My 6'7" stepson fits okay as a passenger, but I don't know if he'd like driving it. They'd fit nicer in an extended cab - my bracket pushes ends right where they are hard up against the back window. With an extended cab I could have adjusted the bracket for a couple more inches.

I’m considering installing a 60/40 front seat out of a 97 extended cab in my 88 standard cab with the factory bench seat. What all would I need to do to get the seats properly installed in my 88? Also, would those seats from the extended cab fold forward so I could access the things I currently store behind my seat?

Thatrebelboy48; thanks for the reply. If all I need to do is cut down one bracket and drill 4 holes it sounds like something that would be worth the trouble to have new seats. Guess I need to check and see if the seat I was considering is still for sale. Thanks,
