Here the relays I have inside there
I'm that kinda turd that would (will?) want to make a sealed container that can drop into place and be held down with the original clips

This just popped into my head; wonder how expensive it would be to have a custom factory PCM top machined with a flat top and spaces for sealed relay sockets. Would look pretty factory and you could have the wiring inside, using the lower connectors for a watertight connection

So many idea.. SO LITTLE TIME :banghead: :burnout:

I never did get a solid pedal with the vehicle not running, but really good brakes once I turn it on. As soon as it starts, it pushes the pedal up solid and it doesn't go down far at all to stop. I did change the master to a nm3011 instead of one for a 1 ton diesel. Question is, could part of the problem be that I have the 1/2 ton low drag calipers still on?

If the only difference in the pedal is the pin hight couldn’t you just remove the pin and move it up?

Almost always going to be more work than it's worth, just pull one from a yard. If you're already there getting the hydroboost it's a no-brainer, if you got a remanufactured booster I could see this route making more sense, but it's still a lot of work compared to removing literally 1 retainer and 1 bolt to pull a pedal from another truck

I ordered a remanufactured unit and all new lines. Finding a truck around here is seeming harder than I would have thought it would be. I have a lead on one but if I it isn’t correct I may try an move the pin.

Any 400 with a diesel will have one; trucks 1500 through 3500, Tahoes, Burbans the whole lot. Think the 3500HDs got them standard too, but I'm not sure

all new lines
If you're planning on doing an EVO delete, do it at the same time. You can get the pressure line for the HB from the PS pump for a 96 or older and it'll curve right into the back of the pump. Eliminates the little EVO delete "U" shaped line if you're as into a clean look as much as I am lol

Rebuilt unit and new master cylinder, I have new hoses as well. Note to everyone, rebuilt units do not come with the push rod to reach the master cylinder. There are two different kits also and it all depend on the bore of the hydroboost unit.

I had to reuse my original pushrod with my rebuilt hydrobooster and it also came with a spacer.
