Pulled the transmission out and dropped it off last week, should have it back in a week or 2. Transmission had 4 wiped out clutches, chewed up torque converter (when I took it apart it wasn't seated properly),that messed up valve and a leaky pump, the shop that rebuilt it previously did a **** job. Also ordered the 3" lift, and put some new to it wheels and tires on it a few months ago, 2010 LTZ rims I got for cheap and 295/55r20 ridge grapplers bought from my old man. In the next month it should be back on the road which will be nice, I miss driving this truck. I'll add the tow mirrors and nerf bars later, going to see if the bars from the hoe will fit since I like the look of them and the n-fab bars are pricey lol.

Got it lifted, was pretty easy to install. Sitting at 39" in the front and 40" in the rear. Was trying to keep it looking factory while updating it to give the stance of a newer truck. It came out pretty well. Thinking about some different taillights to finish off the newer look but haven't found anything I think fits the bill. The trans is going back in next weekend so she'll be drivable soon, can't wait. Also going to re-tint the windows darker, thinking 10% all around since it's currently 20%. Pic's coming soon...

(Grille was off because I put a new trans cooler in and wanted to drive it lol)

Happy to have this truck back, have to wait till next month to drive her though (no appointments open at the DMV's around here till then). Drove it around, rides pretty good but the tires rub the lower control arms close to lock. Suspension settled at a little under 39 and 40 at the fenders respectively, tinted the windows to about 15%. Took it through some mud, it did great and I may have flung it everywhere too lol. I love the way it looks but I'm thinking about swapping the 20's with some 17" bullet holes I found, if I can get the price I want for the current set of wheels I'll go for it. Need to wash it then I'll get some more pictures of her.

As she sits now there's not much more I want to do, mirrors, steps, exhaust and a tune then she'll be damn near perfect.

The bullet holes where $100 and in really nice shape so I went and got them after work last night, for the price I couldn't really go wrong. Waiting to sell the current wheels to get tires for them.

Going to put 285/70r17 Maxxis Razer at's or Dick Cepek trail country's on them. After the alignment the exhaust will get done next, needs to be welded back together (had to cut it to get the trans out, the bolts didn't want to budge and one snapped). Going to go with the same setup as the burb, 2 glasspacks y'd into the tailpipe and a dual tip.

She's back on the road and got the exhaust done. Rides pretty good with the 3" lift and sounds nice as well.

At first I was kinda iffy on the 94 and older style mirrors but I ended up liking them, they don't shake like the aftermarket 95+ ones do. The tires rub a little bit but look great so it's alright for now lol. Waiting for the hoe' to sell to get the tow mirrors and start working on Abigail.

Personally I don’t care for the chrome steelies but the black ltzs look bad*** on it. Sorry for not posting for a while. I have some 15” vision wheels for sale if anyone needs some. I’ll post it in the for sale forum

Ended up taking the 20's off because they were killing my mpg, was getting 200-230~ miles per tank so 10mpg on a good day. Put the 18's back on it and am getting 260-300~ miles per tank, 11-13mpg which I can live with. Sold the 17's and made 100 bucks off them, and now am trying to figure out what I'm going to do with tires. If I keep the 18's on going to get the non LT General Grabber ATX's in 275/70, if I go back to the 20's was looking at 275/60 Kumho Road Venture at51 or Atturo Trail Blade ats. The Goodforoneyears on the truck now have quarter tread left so it's about time to change them (may have burnt them off on the hoe' a few times lol).

Truck looks good on the 18's and 20's so it's a tough call.

Bought new tires, going back to the 20's and went with the Trail Blade at's. Think the 20's look a little better and she's doesn't go off the pavement much so the less aggressive tread pattern will work well for the occasional off road messing around. If I don't work Saturday going to have the tires mounted up. Also put in a new O2 sensor, the old one didn't want play nice. That sensor may have claimed my sensor socket for itself and the two are now well acquainted.

Got the tires on last Saturday, pretty happy with them so far. Good wet traction, quiet on the interstate and they seem to stick pretty well. The tires took away the aggressive look and gave it a more old school look.

She needs new front brakes they're starting to squeal, and need to get the truck re-aligned again, 3rd time since it's been lifted. Hit a pothole last night doing 10, this wasn't a normal pothole, this one was out for you. My driver control arm slammed on the stops knocking my camber out and my *ss got air out of the seat. The CV on that side was on it's last legs and is now toast, not sure if it was from the pothole but it happened around the same time so I'll add it to the list.

Need to re-paint the lips of the rims so ignore that in the pictures lol. Last one you can see my messed up camber.
