Schurkey those federal laws are absolutely the same in Canada, that way we can drive across the borders and not be breaking the law. same with headlights ect.... that's the DOT regulations I believe that apply North America wide but I have no idea what's up with Mexico.

For what it’s worth regarding decibel levels.

Previously - 2 1/4” Y-Pipe no Cat with 3” Single Exhaust with a 5x11x22” Magnaflow was quieter.

Currently - 2 1/2” dual from collector with Hiflow Cats, X-Pipe and TWO 4x9x18” Magnaflows is as loud and drones at 2K RPMs

I measured with a sound meter at both 70 and 80 MPH with no incline or decline.
