Body side molding? Pros and cons??

Do you like them on or off and why? I’m on the fence about taking mine off. If you can send a before and after pic please.
I went through the same dilemma and chose to do the bump strips. It just looks better and, as @df2x4 said, it help protect the body.

It will save your truck from door dings. It's not like it's huge thick body cladding like early Avalanches got.

A number of years ago, I noticed a friends Honda was just peppered with door dings. He said it was from parking at work, and I couldn't imagine how one parking lot could be so bad.... I didn't have that problem at all. Then I looked at my truck and realized why.... the molding.

I don't get the whole "debadging" "demolding" thing. People claim to like a "clean" look. To me it's like buying a particular brand/model and then making it look as generic as possible.
