Side Glass Rubber removal

Getting ready to do some paint work on the dually.

Does anyone know how the side glass rubber comes out. I would rather take it out and tape off the window instead of trying to tape off the rubber/molding.

its probably urethaned into the body if it doesnt open

I’m thinking it’s part of the window channel the side glass rolls up into on obs.

I’m hoping I don’t have to remove the window and a ton of other stuff.

But I’m afraid I’m going to have to. If that’s the case I have 4 windows to take out it’s a quad cab.

It’s the rubber that’s surrounding the outside of the side glass.
