yes but many people will advise against them as you can get almost as much lift out of the stock keys instead of replacing them
Does anyone know where I could buy some tubular uppers for my c1500? It has the 6 inch lift/ with coils

I have inherited my grandparent’s 99 C1500. Stock everything. 130k miles. A real beauty. I’m looking to fit 35x12.50 with no rubbing. The kicker is that I like the “stuffed” look. Fitting 35s on my 18 Silverado was as easy as putting 3” leveling blocks on the front and 2” on the back. What do I need to barely clear 35s on my suburban with no rubbing and no trimming?

Kits or brands would be appreciated!

A rough country 4 inch suspension and 3 inch body should clear 35s easy

Thanks for the reply. I don’t prefer the look of a body lift. I’m considering the 6” rough country lift. It comes in at just under 1k. I hope this would be enough height. If not, I was recommended a place that does very professional trimming for tire fitment.

6” lift should be fine for 35s, I probably wouldn’t go any less.

If i remember correctly I've seen the lift kit builders offering them and some of the lowering guys in "street trucks" advertising them for sale.

So I'm just starting the process of getting my 89 C1500 2WD fixed up. Ultimate end goal is to put down around 500hp with lots of low end torque ideal for daily driving and road trips but would also be fun on a track, won't win any competitions though.

My goal right now is to get it going as a daily driver for as little as I can now without wasting money by buying junk or overspending on something now that will be replaced later.

All that out of the way. One of the two areas I'm willing to put more money into it right now is suspension. I figure buy once cry once is the ideal way to go for suspension but I'm no expert. A local builder is suggesting I avoid coilovers because I'd likely hate the way they ride, so now I'm here.

Coilover yay or nay for my use case?
Should I just slap on a set of roadmasters and only replace any worn parts of my suspension?
