GMT 400 obsessed Swede.
I was replacing my spark plug wires, dist. cap and rotor earlier. After I was done, the truck ran great so I took it on a drive. After a few minutes the engine lost power for a split second, but continued running.
I pulled into a parking lot, check everything in the engine area and didn't see anything obvious, so I kept driving. A few minutes later I pulled into another parking lot, and checked for any codes. I had two, both for the MAF; P0102 and other I don't remember.
So I checked the MAF figuring I didn't connect the sensor properly. When I went to push it in firmly and move the wires over a bit and the engine died. I restarted the engine and moved the wires again, engine dies again.
I'm guessing the pigtail at the MAF is internally damaged? The wires coming off the MAF for about 4 inches to the main harness is fairly stiff.
Any of you had an issue like this?
