This is the upfitter's hand book for the GMT400 series truck. It has ever dimension you will EVER need for our truck. Everything from frame dimensions to the angle of the transfer case, to where the clearance lights are located.

This might be a good thing to sticky if a mod feels pleased to do so.

need to find a day at work when im all by myself and print this 120 pages off. Thanks for the link!!

I had the book at one time from when I worked for an upfitter. We did a lot of Topkick conversions to 4 dr and extended cabs.
in moving a few times I lost or got rid of the book. Now that I have a 400 again, I think I'll print this.

For anyone still needing this, use the link below for OBS Trucks and SUVs (had to dig for it, big shout out to Horns for the original find!)

Let me preface by saying I'm a relatively new GMT400 owner.

I believe this is for the 1999 and up. I'm looking to model up the stepside bed for a 88-98 ('96 actually), and the dimensions in the above PDF are specifically for a '99. The above and what I am linking below show stepsides that are missing the rear side steps. Any idea where I could find the dimensions (or if at all possible a solid model) of the stepside bed for a '96 k1500?

They still made gmt400s in 1999. The body style and frame is still the same. Look on page 61 of the document above your post
