You could try getting the loaner tool and yanking the clutch off of a boneyard truck if you find one with a good connector.
I lived in Arizona for several years and never had much luck finding plastic parts. The heat just eats them up.
So the compressor seals and everything else may be cooked as well.
But, If I had the time and enough beer, I would try it before I spent a shitload of cash on it.
Ya never know.
But I live in Seattle where sweaty balls and satan farts make people cry.
Good luck!

You can rent the hub tool, but the pulley itself also requires a puller. You need a rigid 2 jaw puller, a regular 3 jaw puller will pull the jaws right off and will never grab. Also don't forget the snap ring pliers. I would totally be down to cheap out and get this stuff from the boneyard myself, especially given the unknown of the rest of the system.

Wise man. Where do you go to get yours done?
Just a local repair place here in NC Long way from Vegas but I expect that there is a good independent shop somewhere there that could handle it. You are in one of the few places that need AC worse than we do! Good luck !

It looks like the black female part of weathertite connector is connected to grey male part. If so thats the black shell broken off the electro magnet. So when change it out if you do it. There may be setup for clearance between clutch and drive plate.

Here's a thread I started on how to remove the clutch and coil. The 1st few posts are about that. I used a 3-jaw puller with no problem. The air gap s/b 0.020" to 0.030". The nut on the shaft doesn't adjust enough to reach that gap, it's just pressed on. You may be able to add a washer to get it adjusted. HTH
