I tend to read the sticky posts and try to conform with the forum rules the best I can. I'll keep all of the work I've done on Black Betty here and try and update it with cross posts as best as I can. I am still working nearly every day still, but I'll be taking some time off to address the upgrades that I'm working on.

Specs and Current Upgrades + Upgrades Planned.
1999 GMC Suburban K2500 SLT
7.4L L29 Gen VI Big Block, Stock Drivetrain and differentials. (I'll update this when I get my VIN info)
Current Mods: BFG K02 A/T 265x75x16 (about 31.2") Flowmaster 3" Cat-back to 60 Series Muffler to stock outlet location. K&N Typhoon 2 CAI, Ceramic Tipped 8.5mm Blue Streak Plug Wires, "Blue Brass" Cap and Rotor, MSD Coil, Stewart Aluminum Water pump, Fox 2.0 Shocks front and rear stock height) Rough Country Leveling kit (Torsion Keys), Projector Headlights, LED Tails, LED Lows (55w), LED Highs (48W), LED Fogs (44Wx4), 55" Curved Light Bar (780w), Sony MEX-GS820BT Head Unit, JL Audio Slash 500/1 Class D Mono Bloc, 2x W6 V2 12" in a Ducted Box, Cerwin Vega H765C 6.5" Components Front Doors, Cerwin Vega HED Series H7410 4x10" Co-axials Back roof, Infinity Primus PR6512IS 6.5" Coaxial (Due to shallow back spacing) Rear Doors.

List seems long, but most of it isn't that noticeable. The truck has never given us issues seeing as it was mostly used for towing our boat to various lakes, but then was used for a short work trip back and forth and then parked. I am not planning on jacking it up to the sky, but I would like to have 35" equivalent tires that don't rub when I'm out on the trails. The leveling keys did help quite a bit for the current tires, but also since it tensioned the torsion bars tighter, it's also bouncier in the front. I'd like to dampen that up a bit and get the front end up enough to make full use of such large tires. I've already priced them out with my buddies shop, I just need to pick up a set of 17" wheels since the 16" wheels are disappearing and tires aren't as readily available compared to 17" and up. I'm always open for what options I have available after doing some research, but if you have a kit that would do maybe 2 to 4" of lift, but running a much higher end shock such as a King remote res or Fox shocks. I'd rather not go dual shock if possible, but I also haven't found any dual shock options for the K2500 for the 99 model year or the like.

Planned Upgrades: As mentioned 35's with new 17" wheels, Some form of a small lift (Will fill this in once I have one picked out), 80MM BBK Throttle body, All aluminum radiator, dual 16" electric fan conversion, Strip down the exhaust a bit to reduce weight and back flow, Ideally remove secondary Resonators and hopefully plumb the exhaust out the passenger side before the rear tire. ECU Tune, Cam +stud conversion +roller rockers (Harland Sharp, etc.), Performance Injectors, Headers (Once we leave CA), Front bumper with roll bars that protect the headlights, has an option for a big ole' Winch, Lights, etc, also has underbelly protection (a Baja sort of bumper that's functional), Same goes for the rear, I like the weld up versions, but only if they are made out of decent materials. Dual battery conversion using Odyssey PC1500 AGM batteries w/ Billet Mounts, + Dual battery harness (This will allow me to use the inverter on one battery and isolate the ignition system to the other battery, but both use alt for charging) This harness also has a bridge function that should one battery be low, the other can bump for starting.

I have the radiator, fans, batteries, mounts, harness, relays, etc on order already, most of it will likely be delivered by the time you've read this... if you aren't bored and get down this far haha.

Here are some photos of the big girl in it's various forms and shiny new parts!!! (Soon)

Champion Radiator delivered. I'm quite impressed with the craftmanship of the welds and general form. Wiring is professional and weather tight. Everything looks like it will mesh up well. The big picture will be if all the cooling lines mate up to the rad. I'll post in the other forum so we can comment. I'm stoked to get this in and get the big girl wired up.

Battery mounts are here, did a quick test fit and it's snug, but they will fit. A lot of the excess wiring harnesses are on the front drivers side where the new battery will go. Once I'm done cutting everything down and organizing it will be a nice clean space.

Control device delivered. This will mean I can ditch all the inline fuses and random relays all over. I can run everything into a small box, and since I need a Fan override switch, this will have all my lights and fan in one spot.

New Grill came in. I'm digging the black surround instead of the chrome. New GMC badge as well once I figure out the best way to screw on those little nuts that look like washers.

That cat looks hungry...
The big one is about 28lbs, he's part some crazy huge breed, but we also have to keep his food out of reach or he'll eat everything. He's always trying to eat dog food.

Also got a killer deal on new wire that I ferl is appropriate for 140 Amp circuit. Picked up all stainless steel hardware for the fan and shroud. Just about ready to start ripping out 20 year old wiring.
