I have a 91 2500 2wd with a SM465 4 speed. I bought a 98 NV4500 from a 1 ton. Will my bell housing and cross member work? What else will I have to do to make this work? Thanks.

You will need the bellhousing from a 1996+ NV4500 and you will need to swap out your clutch master cyl and slave cyl to the newer internal slave.

Not sure about the crossmember but if you need to move it, all you have to do is drill a few holes. Not too difficult.

However, measure the overall length of the two to make sure your driveshaft is the correct length.

My truck is 2wd. It's not going to be in the mud. I do not have the flywheel dust shield. Can I go without it or will it hurt anything?
