So I'm a vw guy and just bought my first truck (1991 c1500 2wd, reg cab. I am making it into a 80's/90's themed truck. I recently bought an nos set of 1990 Boyd Coddington wheels 15x8 (5x4.75), I know my truck is 5x5 bolt pattern. I believe that I can just buy 5x4.75 rotors in the front as they are disc?, my problem is the back, what the heck is the best way to go, axle swap?, thank you to all the expert advice I am about to get...

ordered my 4/6" belltech drop kit, should be there mid may

There are several things you can do. Adaptors, axel swap, pull your axels, press out the lugs, then fill weld the holes and drill new holes.

I did some research into this, and thought a set of Camaro 1LE rotors would make the front swap possible, but someone else went and tried what I was planning and it didn't work. None of the shops local to me will re-drill axles for a new bolt pattern. In the end I decided to keep my Corvette Grand Sport wheels on the shelf. If I do ever decide to run them, I'm going to use bolt-on spacers.

Adapters are the only way unless you go with a wilwood front brake setup but then your talking $$$ to run a set of vette wheels.
