So I have a rcsb 98. Was curious if any one knew how the tools, jack goes in the back of the truck. I have everything just need to know how to mount everything behind the seats.

Any pictures parts I may need. Much appreciated!

It's easy to get pictures when your seat is still sitting on the garage floor, lol. I was missing the lug nut/spare lowering piece when I got the truck. Found one last week at the U-Pull in the back of a 99 Burb that had a turbo 454 in it.

Wow, that would be something to see! The big block turbo Burb that is. The utes have a plastic case that the jack handles and ratchet go in. Mine is broken, and I don't think it'd been used before (cause everything was in its proper place in the storage compartment). So I have it tied shut with a bungee cord. Something else to hunt for at the yard.....it's getting to be a long list LOL.

Yes, it did have a case, and the tools we in it. That Burb also had a huge 8lug drum, so I'm guessing 3500. I should have taken some pictures. If I make it back there before they crush it, I'll grab the tool case for you.

Okay cool, just let me know what you need for it. $ or I can send you some toys.....
Probably a 2500, there's no official 3500 suburban except for some special order government ones. But the 2500 has a 13" drum, a big heavy sumbitch. I had em on my 90 square Burb R2500. They would stop it on a dime though!

It was the biggest drum I have seen on a Burb in the yards. If I get there in time, I'll grab the tool box for you.

Was it a full floater axle or just a bigger version of the regular one? Burb could be either one. We got a FF to put in a square Burb, and then the transmission croaked on that truck. Still have the rear axle assembly though (took 4 of us to get it at the yard and get it in the pickup).
