It's been too cold and snowy to pull the '49 GMC and Z28 out of the shop. I could get them out, but the approach to get them back in afterwards is dicey. With that being said, the Bilsteins are still sitting on the bed of the '49 uninstalled.

Got the new wheels/tires on the wife's Mach 1 and then decided to order a set of louvers for the rear window(not installed, waiting until I can bring the shop up to around 68*+ without kicking on the nuclear backup generator). It definitely looks mean now.

'Burb has soldiered the cold temps well, it's currently white from the roadspray garbage...did I ever tell everyone how much I HATE mag-chloride and salt?

I've been looking for a RCLB K2500\3500 for a "farm pickup". May have stumbled on a K2500 with a flatbed that has a partial LS swap completed. Hoping to go look next weekend if it works out...I already have a plan working in my head for the finished "look".

I'm getting close to brand new Duramax purchase time....

I've got a certain black LS swapped K2500 that'd probably make a solid farm truck. ;)

Probably time for an update.

Put a new brake controller in the Suburban, old one was shot. I went with the Tekonsha Primus IQ, made up a removable harness to connect in with the current wiring.

Mounted it in a better spot than the previous unit, now it is no longer an obstacle when entering the 'burb.

Need to adjust the auto-adjusting brakes on the trailer, I'm still not happy with them. I like to be able to lock the brakes and then back the system off to my preference.

Nice harness- I appreciate clean wiring! Is that one of the brake controllers with built in gyro that senses vehicle braking and then adjusts signal to rear brakes?

Thanks! I've learned to put the extra time into wiring stuff up.

Yes, this unit is self leveling and can be mounted in a multitude of ways. Has a boost feature that I like and easy diagnostics. Its highly rated on all the RV sites.

Very nice- I got into the travel trailer world this last summer and love it. Ironically I do not use my k2500 to tow as I got a lightweight 16 footer but its been fun to work on and mod!

I haven't forgot about you, I just keep forgetting to take a picture when I'm in the 'burb!

Been a busy few weeks, had to replace the rear u-joint in the 'burb rear driveshaft. Just did both since I had it out, cheap insurance. Did my 3rd oil change, went back to the Rotella T6 5w40 from the 0W40 Castrol Edge. Didn't see any change in consumption (1qt in 5k) and I like the add pack in the Rotella better for the big block. Also serviced the NP246 while I was changing the oil.

Lots of yard work and other maintenance has been eating up my time. I need to do brakes on the 'burb, the rears look ok, might just do them anyways...fronts for sure are about due.

No worries man! I still haven't even rewired my 6 pin setup for when I did the bumper swap yet! And I'm looking at goosenecks so I'm really needing to get that done.

Looking for a decently cheap lowboy

Face up, ass down. Isn't that how to song goes?

I like @OutlawDrifter new dovetail car hauler but prefer gooseneck and the keep the overall length down to a reasonable range as it will spend at least some time every month in my driveway..
