I like to try and save a few bucks here n there with all my various projects BUT these are not the way to do it. I figured they'd be ok enough to test out in a meh... engine build BUT I'd rather use regular CHEAP lifters than these so-called High Performance or even just get stock replacement GM lifters.

I'd sooner use good used lifters than that kind of junk. I have a set of 16 L31 lifters soaking in a jar full of ATF for the next small block that needs them.

Used decent mileage lifters would be fine as well, most want almost as much for used as new tho.

Last time a friend bought new AC Delco LS7 lifters they weren't but $120 on Amazon. Of course that was pre covids.

Use to be even cheaper, wish I bought a tray from GM. Also herd the newer ones aren't as good and the old stock GM lifters are like $250+

Supposedly the LS7 stuff is no good, there's another part number that's the one to get. Personally, I'm going with Johnson short travel lifters when I cam my LS6.
