Have any of you guys built your own harness. I have a new 96 hvac panel and all the wires for it. I also have the old panel and a complete harness for it. Just wondering if someone has done this swap and can give advice on how to do it.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have a 1995 K2500 Suburban. Some of the dash lights went out so I decided to replace all of them. I've only had this particular Suburban for about a year so I'm still finding small things here and there. When I got to replacing the lights in the HVAC control I noticed they'd been screwed down into place and the panel itself was fractured and in pretty bad shape. I can't seem to find a replacement panel in decent shape for a price anywhere near reasonable. I do however have at least one spare from one of my previous trucks ('96 & '98) along with the connectors and pigtails. I assume the color codes are the same and it should be a matter of just matching them but I don't want to just start cutting and get halfway through before I find out I'm wrong.

There’s a video on youtube on someone making the harness. I’ve personally not done it since there’s no need at the moment but i’ll definitely be using his video. His channel is called lowlifeyonkes
