I am on Version 92 of the tune
Yeah, it gets addictive huh? I'm over 150 right now, LOL. But I'm still learning a lot of the nuances for timing/spark relationships as well as HLC. Some day I may even get it right:anitoof:

I'm still curious, on your 7427 did you have to install an adapter to switch to the 27SF512 chip or did you just have to change the address when flashing it? Can you explain what it all entails? TIA

It's been a while, but I had to tell Tunerpro to repeat the code to fill the whole chip. I desoldered and soldered the new EEPROM to the memcal directly, no adapter. There is an adapter to hook the memcal to the programmer, I got that from Moates. It's not a bad idea to get the chips there too because of the rampant counterfeit chips out there.

It's under Tools - Bin Stacker. You repeat it to the full size of the chip and save it, then when you make changes it will save it properly so the PCM can see the correct address. Make sure you when you make changes that you save it as a new file so if the changes don't work well you can revert them. It's also not a bad idea to edit the log files that TunerPro generates with the bin with notes so you can remember WHY you made changes. It will help you keep track of progress.

I'll try not to. One rated a 1000lbs ought to do it. And 4 wheels!

Always heard they were less than 60lbs heavier than a good ol' 350.

Well, parts of them are heavy! I can move a Chevy head or intake with one hand, not so on the Cadillac parts. But yeah, a sturdy, well balanced engine stand is a good idea!
