I boxed the frame all the way up under the cab, then removed some of it and I don't remember why. I was chasing a vibration that was cured with a 1 piece aluminum drive shaft. Chased it on 2 Centurions, fixed them both that way. I will not box this frame, it was kinda useless. I am going to do the hydroboost pretty soon, think I'll pick up a low mileage gear box since mine is leaking. You are making me want to make this a "sooner than later" change. I still need to change my lifters and put in the upgraded fuel injectors. I am fixing up a house to rent and trying to build a garage, and have a full time job and 2 kids. Time is not something I get a lot of free.

Just had my 3rd in January, also working with the bank to grab rental properties, standing up LLCs, patching/upgrading the race car, the DD, the flipper. . . I totally get it. I need a few clones of myself to get it all done!

I need a copy of me at 18 years of age, very willing to learn and liked to work with nothing to keep me away.

I started doing body work at age 13 in dads garage, which was open then as his primary source of income. Didn't do a lot of mechanic work then, but brake jobs, u joints, and that kind of stuff was pretty common. I almost wish instead of being a software developer that I had just opened a shop and worked on vehicles with a crew that covered it all.

Business owner > employee. Sadly, I am an employee.

I want to hear what you think of ride quality before and after. My dually rides way better than my 1500. Flipper dually also rides super nice. I wonder how much the frame is to credit there.

I think it has to do more with heavier curb weight and longer wheelbase?

I've made a similar observation: My CCLB SRW K3500 also seems to ride better than my GMT800 ECSB 1500 2wd even though it has those ultra soft 3 leaf packs. I hate those BTW! And I think the torsion bar setup in my comparison is supposed to be a little harsher than front coil of the 2wd? Don't really know on that, just my guess?

The boxed area of my Centurion was done by me. The part they did is what has rust holes, they didn't seal it up to prevent water from getting between the metals.
