Do you have the thicker “K” case...
You’ll see a big K on the side of the bellhousing.

Poly trans mounts with rubber motor mounts can be problematic.
When in doubt ,the opposite is much safer... (poly motor mounts w/rubber trans)

The engine does the weeble-wobble on soft engine mounts while the poly trans mount tries to keep the trans from moving in unison with the engine. A broken tailshaft, case, or bellhousing can result from a solid or near solid trans mount.

It just seems the 2 are so far apart that's a bit of a reach. Have either of you seen this before? The poly trans mount still has some give.
