How does the OD being off affect lifter retention? I've not done this yet to an LS, but figure it just has to sit under the lifter to keep it up and off the cam?

Using dowels in the lifter service holes push against the side of the lifter to hold it up.

They don't go under the roller end of the lifter to hold it up.

Ahh, did not realize that. I have an aluminum 5.3 on the stand, figured I'd just flip it upside down and give it a spin when I change cams on it. Easy peasy.

You'd figure as expensive as these injectors were, they'd come in a gold plated box.
