Side molding

Just curious for those that have put new side molding on your trucks where did you get it? I know Lmc sells pre cut molding but I’ve also heard of people buying a roll and cutting it themselves. For those that have done it which way do you recommend

I’m interested too as I plan this in the future after I get mine painted. Do the pre-cut door moldings have the provision for the bow tie emblem?

From what I understand they don’t but I could be wrong. My truck is going to paint probably this weekend just trying to figure out the best molding option to order

Thanks for pointing this out. I checked and you are correct. The emblems and moldings are all still available. Most of the molding part numbers have been superceded, but they are available.

I went with the OEM door moldings and emblems and a big roll of trim guard for the rest. The profiles are not exact as you can see below, but you need to get pretty close to see it.

Yes, they are a bit different. Looks really nice though
