Thanks for the update! I have shackles on the way for my stepside, and it's nice to get an idea what it'll look like.

Yep I noticed that the new lenses made my Burb look lots better! Probably helped keep the po po from bugging me over what they see as an " old neglected pos truck, they gotta be doing something bad, let's pull em over...."I love how I can have a seriously rough looking truck, but spend $50 on RockAuto replacing those faded lights and immediately it looks $1k better.

Most police officers are not like that, but the few that are make it bad for everyone.
Well....you can haul a lot in one, and it sounds like some people haul illegal things in them! Also, unless someone really knows their trucks, most big sport utilities look pretty similar, so you have the anonymity factor there too. I have also noticed with my Burb, particularly when it's dirty, that pewter color blends into the shadows. When I lived in Pearland, I use to have guys tease me about driving my old suburban. Lol. Seems like these were the body styles cops were looking for. Got pulled over twice on separate years. One I was parked on Dixie farm road, making a phone call. Cop came to me for being suspicious lol. 2 I was on telephone swapping lanes on front of walmart. Didnt use a signal. Cop pulled me over to tell me that and asked random questions. Both times the cops let me go. Now my brothers a cop for Pearland and I told him the full stories for both, and he said old suburbans are hot items for thieves and druggies
