Will this s10 console shifter work

I have a 1998 c1500 with a 4l60e will this shifter work possibly

Did it control a 4L60 / E in the S10?

Just asked he didn't say I dig the smaller profile. Maybe get some ss cobalt seats or vette seats and it would be a good combo in my opinion

Those are outta newer S-10s, 94-up, so would be compatible with the 4L60s. But that console is gonna be super skinny once bolted down in between the seats. Seats will prolly bolt in once change the tracks, but the console is gonna sit way low.

If want a cool center console look for a Denali or Escalade. I put one in my tahoe and like it so far. Need to paint it to match, maybe add a small light but like it. I plan on a floor shift, thinking of using one like the S-10, something simple....
