These came starting on the GMT800s. That’s what I’m wanting.

Oh ok, I forgot about those. They're the same as the painted steel wheels but with a thin sheet over them.....I always thought it was stainless.

So I went this morning and purchased the correct wheels this time, got them home and next step is to clean and polish them up some.

Looking good! Brasso worked great when I cleaned up the grille and bumpers on my Burb in May. Didn't scratch the plastic chrome either. Just used it with cheap white towels from the rag bag.

I used dawn soap and water to get the dust off, and Turtle Wax Chrome Polish to shine them

Lets see some polished steelies lol

I’ll load some after work tomorrow lol

That works too! I used the Brasso cause that's what I had. Was really pleased with how well it turned out. My poor Burb hasn't had a proper washing in years, because the last several places we've lived, we haven't had provisions to use that much water. Once I have some spare bux I'm not spending on truck parts, I'll take it to a car wash and make it look good. If it rains good, then it's sorta clean till the dust builds up on it again.....one thing about the pewter paint is it looks about the same dirty or clean. Dad's Denali is black, and it looked decent for about 5 minutes after a washing. And that's after I spent half a day on it....
