Not really new but about 20 years ago went into a sears store. They were tearing down all the tool displays. One display was a complete tool set 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive with shallow and deep metric and SAE. Metric and SAE combo wrenches, screwdrivers. Hex keys. I asked if it was for sale. YES was the answer and IIRC the price was about 1/3 of the retail. I did have to remove all the tools from the display board. WELL worth the effort.

I bought these this morning..... found Meijer's was open from 6am to 4-something on Thanksgiving and I couldn't get there before work on Wednesday.... went mostly for a bag of rice and left spending $50... $12 for the sockets.

Tekton tools are like 50% off. I bought the metric set last year and it's been super handy, so this year I bought the SAE. I really would like all new sockets, as my stuff is kind of a mishmash. I may buy some of the Tekton rails for a selection of my existing sockets, Though.

Tekton is mostly Taiwanese, but Taiwan is making some good tools. The plastic rails are advertised as being US made. I think the rail for my metric set may be slightly different.

Many apologies for my Canadian ignorance, but that Tech 2 looks like it could be the US of A Secret Service "Football". Jokes akin, could I plug that in and check my body ailments? My wife hides the Visa when I am on the net, to prevent me from buying more nice tools. Dang It.

Stopped in at HF to check out the black friday stuff. Ended up with this haul for about $70. These will go nicely in the road box

I was going to get the Tekton 1/4 and 3/8 sets but this was less than half the price so i pulled the trigger. I need to make a list but im thinking i still need a decent screwdriver set, lug nut flip socket set, another small pry bar, and some roadside odds and ends like fuses, zipties, electrical tape, etc.

I made this hi-tech tool from a piece of 2x4. It makes working on shocks easier, as long as they are the right diameter.

How do you "work" on shocks? Do you have something besides regular shocks?

Right now I am working on old polaris scrambler shocks. You can take them apart and service them and/or change valving etc..
