16196396 is what was in my '95 5.7 with manual transmission.
After some more reading, I see the 6395 was not used with a 5.7L and manual trans, as @CrustyJunker said the 6396 was used instead. However, the more I look the more confused I get, ha ha. The 6395 and the 7427 may have interchangeable BCCs, see post #3. On post #5 it appears you can change your bin to 5.7L, I know you didn't want to do any tuning but...
Maybe you can find a BCC for a 7427 with 5.7L manual, plug it in and see what happens. YMMV
