Gear ring and pinion kit?

Was interested in buying a pinion gear kit and wanted to know how to determine my carrier bearing fitment? Thanks!

what are you asking exactly? you can just go to summit racing or east coast gear supply and type in your truck and get the right ring and pinion

Did that...has a couple of different carrier bearing sizes for my truck.

I'm guessing it's a 10 bolt... Eaton requires some special different sized carrier bearings to use a couple of their posi carriers in the 8.5/8.6" 10 bolts. They're referenced in here with an asterisk next to the carrier part numbers that require them.

Basically if you're going to put in one of the applicable Eaton carriers, use those. ^

If you're keeping the stock carrier, use the other ones.

That's my complete blind guess as to what's going on here.

I bought my Eaton Truetrac posi, Motive brand ring/pinion, and all bearings (Koyo brand) from Quick Performance. 3 years later everything is still great.
