Posting my truck and some of the progress I've made. Bought it back in April as an 18th bday present to myself. Always been my dream truck to have one of these two doors/blazers and I'm slowly but surely building it the way I want it and learning a lot of new things about these trucks along the way.

Pics when I bought it, where it is now, and where I might like to go with it.

So far (in order) I've...
Replaced the A/C blower motor
Fuel tank, fuel pump, and sending unit
Tuneup
Fluids and filters front to back
New speakers
Complete front end rebuild (UCAs, Tie rods and sleeves, ASB bushings, LCA bushings, end links, UBJs and LBJs, pitman and idler, etc.)
4-6in altitude adjustment with Bilstein shocks (Superlift)
Custom true duals (FM super 44)

Plans:
35x12.5r17 on some steelies
4.56 regear and rear disc conversion
nv4500 swap
Steering gear box
U joints
Some little cosmetic things and what nots of course

If anybody has any advice about the regear that would be appreciated as that is next on my list.

(I paid 5k not 9k)

Added some really nice fog lights but from a member of the forum. Got everything wired up nicely and went to flick them on and melted the switch in the cab! No clue why. Will post a pic of the switch and wiring when I get a chance.

Because you ran the entire amperage draw of 4 huge lights through the switch... without a relay?
There were two relays, two fuses, and grounded. I just assumed it was hooked up to the battery but as it turned out it was only hooked up to the positive terminal... may have been the negative but in any case it was only hooked up to one terminal. I took it to a shop I work with a lot where they rewired it with a new switch (teaching me along the way) for 40 bucks.
