2004-2010 Toyota Sienna center console in a Tahoe. Front lower left will need to be trimmed for second row foot vent duct. Rear will need to be elevated about three inches for best fitment. Unit is easily removable too. Grey color is very close to OEM. The plastic texture is slightly different but hardly noticable.

Hey guys, I have a 96-99 Suburban (96) and the two 10mm bolts that hold the console down THANKFULLY unscrewed a bit before the heads snapped off and broke. Now I am cleaning the console, but when I go to put it back in, I don't want to buy an extractor and try to get those bolt/screw threads out. How can I safely install the OEM console without drilling into my tranny!

Just got my bucket seats re wrapped along with the center console, what do you guys think about the new chevy logo I used for the head rest? Gave her a more modern look on the inside imo.

You wrapped those black pieces? I just removed my console and I was going to SEM paint them. It seemed like a material and shape that would be hard to wrap. I have plenty of black 3M vinyl.

If those screws were in there solid enough and you have threads available to use, just get some nuts for them and forget it lol. Otherwise, drill with a depth stop on the bit to keep from drilling too far. But I don't think the trans rides that close to the body for you to even worry about that.

I don’t know what a depth stop is I’m just a girl with a couple sets of tools, And I’ll try to send a picture later but the threads that are broke off are currently flush with the floor so there is no way to put a nut on top.

You can make a depth stop with a piece of metal tube ( like brake or fuel line) cut to the length you need. Brass or copper tubing will also work. A depth stop is a metal piece that fits on a drill bit, that has a set screw in it, that you tighten down into the groove of the drill bit at the desired position, to keep it from going any deeper into the hole.
With the tubing version, you'd measure how long the usable length of the bit is ( when it's chucked into the drill, how long the bit is), and subtract from that dimension the depth of the hole you want to make. Sounds more complicated than it is. Good luck!

1st console try made from 100% recycled material. IE; leather upholstery from old recliner, scrap wood, screws from what I had. I think it came out pretty good. I have to install 1 more speaker on each side when I get them
