Here’s some pre-lift/headache rack pictures for reference... should be another week or so and I’ll have it all finished up. I’ll post all pictures of the lift going on later.

also, haven’t heard back from the guy with Axles.... hopefully he’s still got them.

Can confirm G80 axles.. 3:73 gears.

Got ahold of the guy from Craigslist, any opinion on what I should ask and offer?

Far as the swap, should be a pretty much one for one since they are the same ratio?

Taking the control arms to get the bushing pressed out at a shop, decided I couldn’t do it by myself with my press... had a very strong sense of, “please don’t kill me”.

Once those are taken care of lower controls, TBs, keys and maybe the cross member? Are all off for powder coating.

Not sure if you are aware, but the 6 lug 14BSF out of a 2500 is about 3" narrower (drum to drum) than the 6 lug 14BSF out of a 1500. I have done two of these swaps (with drums and discs) and I have a third 14BSF which is the narrower version sitting in my shop that I ended up not using. Good looking truck by the way.
