I finally got some track time tonight. First pass was a 11.3 because I spun halfway down the track feathering the throttle and couldn't hook. The rest of the passes were in 4wd with the best two being both 9.37 passes. I ended up beating a 95 LT1 M6 Camaro with a LT4 Hotcam. The pass that surprised me most was against a 2001 LS1 A4 Camaro highway patrol model. He didnt pass me until the very end.
Needless to say, I had a blast and enjoyed talking about cars with the others that were there. I think with a LSD, traction bars, and e85 I should be able to get close to 9.0 in 2wd if I hook.

I ended up finding a steal of a deal on a Lingenfelter LNC-2000 launch controller. Some of the wiring had been poorly repaired in the past, and looks like the look had been replaced, so I fixed it right and loomed it for the way I decided to route it. So far it works great and helps take a lot of strain off my brakes when preparing to launch. On the downside, I've blown the welds apart on my x pipe and will need to get it welded back soon before it blows apart and drags.

On Sunday my AC Delco oil pressure sensor decided to leak, and this one was not even a year old. It's always the pesky little things...

I'm having issues with my passenger side drum brake not wanting to release after stopping or slowing to a low speed. Sometimes it doesnt release until after I hit 30mph or so. I'm going to have the drum turned, install new shoes, and a new set of springs and see if that helps out any. It's getting really annoying maneuvering parking lots, having to give more throttle than I should to get it to move. After this, I think I'll be buying some lugnut 4x4 rear disc brackets and Eldarado parking brake calipers. Tired of fighting the drums.

Never had that issue. How old are the wheel cylinders?
