I smacked my mirror on one of the pillars at the ATM drive through yesterday. The drive through at the bank is pretty narrow, when I had the tow mirrors I had to fold them in so I could fit which I learned the hard way after both mirrors collided. The mirror shakes while driving now, have to replace it at some point. Speaking of mirrors even though the tow mirrors were ugly I miss being able to see everything. The 2015 style tow mirrors look better on these trucks than the style ones I had, I might pick up a set to see if I like them better than the stock mirrors.

On a side note, I went and checked out a single cab yesterday, was a nice truck. The interior felt cramped once I got the seat adjusted, my knees were pretty close to the dashboard (in my truck the seat is slid all the way back so I don't have that problem). I don't think I could get comfortable in a single cab for extended periods so they're off the list which sucks since I love how they look lowered. I wanted something a little different than my previous trucks but oh well, ex-cabs look good also.

Haven't done anything to the truck besides clean it, but I did buy another truck today. It's an 05 Silverado 2WD with a 4.8 & 220k or there about (I don't remember exactly), has some issues but was 1600$. The front is ugly as hell (I really hate cateyes) but is in nice shape. The truck is on some 22's. Named the truck Turd Ferguson after it's looks and that she's a beater, I think the name suits it pretty well lol. She'll be my new DD for a while once it is all fixed up.

They make decent daily drivers. Yours probably has (same as mine) 3.23 gears. Combine that with a motor that has basically no bottom end - GM - wtf where you thinking? I had BB send me a tuned ecm and it is livable now. Would be better with 4.10 gears. Mine gets 20-22 mpg while hauling a dirt bike.

Agree with above, the 99-02 front end is much better looking than the cat eye.
Me too, to my eyes the cat eye front end looks like somebody sat on it. Have a buddy with a 2002 sportside, whose dad has an 03 fleetside, and he said the same thing!

I’ve always thought the cateye Chevy was overrated, now the 99-02 front clip I’m a huge fan of. Especially the HD version

I agree with all the above haha, never seen the appeal of cateye trucks especially when the prior front end already looked good.

Went to the junk yard and got a center console latch along with some parts for the '05, I was hoping to get a set of fogs off a Z71 Tahoe but someone already snagged the entire front end. My new turn signals came in today as well, need to install those and the new latch tomorrow.
